  2. I’ve heard that testimonials are key for a website. People want to hear what others think of your business and your ability to serve. What do you think?

You heard right Laura! Testimonials do count, especially when you are dealing in online sales / ecommerce. Before people open their wallets / get their credit cards out, they always want to be re-assured that they are not throwing away their hard earned money on some low quality product / scam.

But a word of warning about testimonials- they should be 100 % GENUINE, by real customers or everything could backfire!

    Dr Kavita,
This is an excellent article. I will be re-reading it when I get home from work, as I think I can apply the principles to my wounded blog. Glad to see you back; had been wondering where you went.
Also, other than the threads you enact on Linkedin, I never hear from you, as to your newsletter. I have subscribed but if not for Linkedin groups, would never be able to peruse all of your great articles. I wonder why this is so. Just another mystery of the universe, I suppose.

      Hi Rick,

It feels so great to be in touch with you again. I was around, but was a bit caught up in things other than my business.

I just checked to see why you are not receiving my newsletter and found that you have used your gmail id: (rich….my…wr…@gmail.com)to signup and my records show that you have not opened the last one that I sent on Jan 28th.

Maybe you forgot which email id you used to signup and that is why I have mentioned your id cryptically :) Pls check and in case you have mistakenly marked any of them as spam, you can check in your spam folder as well.
